Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

NewsletterOS is a product of iGloo Digital Services LLC (“NewsletterOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It provides software that helps you scan your email inbox for relevant signal and produce a branded newsletter. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the NewsletterOS web application at newsletteros.live.

Information we collect

We collect and process the following categories of information:

How we use Google Gmail data

When you connect Gmail, NewsletterOS reads only the messages matching the search criteria you configure and uses their content for a single purpose: to extract and summarize candidate stories for the newsletter you are building. We do not read your entire mailbox indiscriminately, and we do not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to producing your newsletter.

Limited Use disclosure. NewsletterOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Use of artificial intelligence; no training on your Gmail data

NewsletterOS uses AI language models to summarize signal and draft editorial copy. Any content derived from your Gmail is sent only to Anthropic (Claude) for processing. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its API, and we do not permit that data to be retained for model training. We do not transfer Gmail-derived content to any other AI provider.

We separately use OpenAI to generate optional cover images and for features that do not involve Gmail content (for example, drafting LinkedIn outreach messages from contact details you enter). Gmail-derived content is never sent to OpenAI.

How we store and protect your data

Account and workspace data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database; generated images are stored in managed blob storage. Connections to Google are made using OAuth; we store the access and refresh tokens needed to read your selected messages on your behalf, and transmit data over encrypted connections. We restrict access to your data to the operation of the service.

Service providers

We share data with infrastructure and processing providers only as needed to operate NewsletterOS, including:

We do not sell your personal information or your Gmail data.

Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect a connected Google account at any time, which revokes our access. You may also delete newsletter editions and request deletion of your account and associated data. When you revoke Gmail access or delete your account, we delete the corresponding stored tokens and content within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Your choices

Connecting Gmail is optional. You may revoke NewsletterOS's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting the account in NewsletterOS settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
